The port city of Roses Spain
Roses, the essentially Mediterranian town on the north of the Costa Brava, was once the site of the founding of Rhodes in the 8th century by the Ancient Greeks. Although nothing remains of this historical event three thousand years later (save for a crumbling citadel and city walls), the city has continued to florish as a harbor town full of high-rise vacation resort developments, water sports, and tourists indulging in the various amenities of this active town (an aquatic park, go-karts, sucba centers, sumptuous cuisine, and cruises around the harbor, to name a few).
Current Weather
Whatever one may be looking for in a vacation, whether it be swimming in a secluded cove, sailing, sunning on the man-made beach, wandering the historical ruins, or just having a romantic dinner for two under the famously spectacular sunset, Roses is the location for the ultimate vacation. If you find an even greater need for adventure, Roses is less than thirty kilometers from the French border, sixty-five kilometers from Gerona, and one hundred sixty kilometers from Barcelona, ensuring that your every travel dream is fulfilled. At the essence of Roses is your rest, relaxation, and recreation. After all, several hundred Rhodians immigrating from Greece three thousand years ago speak volumes about this breathtaking locale...
